aqua nueva, a jewel in ‘London’s Mile of Style’

For a Spanish restaurant, it’s always exciting to be recognised by the Spanish community. So you can imagine how the Cava corks popped when aqua nueva was featured recently in El Viajero, the prestigious travel magazine of El Pais, Spain’s best-selling newspaper.

El Viajero’s Carlos Betriu visited Regent Street discovering the wealth of shops, art galleries and nightlife along and around what he dubbed ‘London’s Mile of Style’. In a lengthy section headed ‘With views of London’, Carlos profiled aqua london, admiring the ‘stylish after-work crowd’ in aqua spirit and ‘high-end decor’ of aqua kyoto.

But he reserved particular praise for aqua nueva, enjoying Alberto Hernandez’s food which he liked for being ‘elegant but not overly fancy’ and ‘based on the very finest ingredients’. Señor Betriu also noted the confident professionalism of our staff, a compliment which has been very gratefully received!
