Shaking up the cocktail list!

It’s (almost) all change at aqua spirit, with a major shake-up reinvigorating our cocktail list. Bar manager Sophian, assistant bar manager Rocco and their team have spent weeks conceiving, testing and – most importantly! – tasting new recipes, and we’re confident that the new list will have something to delight every palate.

Feeling fruity? Why not start with a Cherry On Top, blending Jim Beam Black Bush bourbon with morello cherry puree, Crème de Banane liqueur and blood orange marmalade? Or perhaps you’d like something short and sweet like Gold Honey – Elements 8 rum stirred with Lillet Blanc infused with figs, Pedro Ximenez sherry and chocolate bitters, from the ‘Aqua Deluxe’ section of the list all featuring the very finest premium spirits.

Celebrating? There’s a wonderful take on the classic Champagne cocktail in the ‘Aqua Creations’ section, Picasso’s Flute, which features Torres 10 year old Spanish brandy, an absinthe-soaked sugar cube and peach liqueur, topped up with Cava. Or for something longer, how about a Spanish Garden – Ciroc vodka with white wine, green tea syrup, vanilla sugar, fresh basil and grapes, served long over crushed ice?

Naturally we’ve kept some of our most popular cocktails from the old list – the Nueva Cobbler (Tio Pepe sherry, Crème de Mure, fresh blackberries and raspberries muddled with vanilla sugar) and the Nashi pear sake and pear purée-based Japanese Velvet are still there in pride of place.
