From Saturday 8th November, we’re introducing a fantastic new lunch menu perfect for  anyone hitting Oxford Street or Regent Street for some weekend retail therapy.

Available every Saturday from 12 noon until 2.30pm for groups of up to six guests, our Retail Recharge menu kicks off with a decadent Bellini and includes a selection of delicious Japanese dishes high in energy-giving protein and nutrients but low in fat, enough to fill you up without weighing you down.

National Waiters’ Day 2014

It’s not often we encourage our staff to run, but we were shouting support from the sidelines when we entered a team into the recent National Waiters’ Day race!

A brilliant initiative described by its founder Fred Sirieix as ‘A day to celebrate all Front of House staff and inspire people about careers in the hospitality industry’, National Waiters’ Day took place on 25th September and the highlight for us was The Waiters’ Race in London’s Hyde Park.

Sensational Seaweed!

Our healthy ‘sunshine diet’ Vitamin D menu was a huge hit with guests, so we think you’ll be excited to hear about our latest special menu inspired by a true Japanese superfood – seaweed!

Seaweed is widely used in Japanese cuisine, prized for its health benefits which include being high in fibre and iodine and a complete protein. Our head chef Paul Greening – who trained as a microbiologist – has long been fascinated by the role seaweed plays in cooking, and also by the many different ways in which seaweed’s many varieties can be used.

On Monday 4th August we were honoured to welcome Iwahashi Tastuya, Aqua Restaurant Group’s executive head chef for Japanese cuisine, to aqua kyoto to prepare a very special dinner for invited guests. Iwahashi-san is responsible for the award-winning Japanese food in Aqua’s five Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong – aqua tokyo, Armani/aqua​ and three Shiro sites.
